William Moore Ede

In this name, the family name is Moore Ede, not Ede.

William Moore Ede (31 August 1849 – 2 June 1935)[1] was an Anglican priest in the 20th century.[2]

Moore Ede was educated at Marlborough College and St John's College, Cambridge[3] and ordained in 1873.[4] After an early appointment as Superintendent Lecturer for the Midland Counties he held incumbencies at Gateshead[5] and Whitburn. He became the Dean of Worcester Cathedral in 1908,[6] a post he held for 26 years.[7] He died on 2 June 1935.[8]
